PMI KC Mid-America Chapter Announces the 2013 College Scholarship Program

Award:  Two college scholarships of $2000 each

Qualifications of Candidates: 

• Candidates must be a member of KC PMI or a direct family member of a chapter member.  (This includes spouses, children, step-children, and grandchildren, but not cousins, aunts, and uncles, etc.)

• Candidates must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university.
  • Student may be full-time or part-time
  • The degree program may be for any college major (not just project management!)*
  • The degree program may be for a two-year, four-year, graduate, or PhD.  (Sorry, certificate programs do not qualify.)

Application process:

• PMI Education Foundation (PMIEF) manages the applications and determines scholarship award winners.  Winners are not determined by the local chapter.

• The online application and instructions are located on the PMIEF website at http://www.pmi.org/PMIef/scholarship/

• DEADLINE!  Applications, essays*, and all related materials must be delivered to PMIEF no later than June 1, 2013 to be considered.

• Winners are announced in August/September.
