December 28, 2009 - KC PMI Board Leadership first Strategic Planning Session was completed on Dec. 16.  Additional meetings will be on Jan. 10 and all day Jan. 16.  All chapter leaders are invited to attend. 

December 16, 2009 - KC PMI Leadership 2010 first Strategic Planning Session was held today by conference call.

December 14, 2009 - The Winter PMP Exam Prep class only has 15 seats remaining.  Enroll now if you want to attend this 13 week class.  These classes always fill up before the end of the enrollment period.  This class begins Jan. 14, 2010.

December 8, 2009 - KC Mid-America Chapter's membership dues for 2010 have been increased $5 to $25.

December 8, 2009 - KC PMI Chapter Dinner Meeting fees will be increased by $3 to $28 for chapter members.

November 18, 2009 - 26 Chapter Members took the 2009 KC PMI Chapter Survey.  The results were announced at the November meeting and the details will be given to the Board members at the December Board meeting.

November 3, 2009 - Jan Schmitz wins a free pass to the Jan 18th, 2010 Dinner Meerting. Who will the next winner be?  Complete the survey and have a chance to win.

October 27, 2009 - If you are a chapter volunteer you can now register for the November 9th Dinner meeting.  All volunteers can attend free, but you must register by Thursday Nov. 5th.  When you register add a comment that you are a volunteer and for which team.  For example: "Volunteer - PMP Exam Prep Class".

October 10, 2009 - The election for the KC PMI Board of Director is now open.  You should have received a ballot by e-mail.  Please vote online and submit your vote by Novemver 9th.  The election results will be announce at the November 9th Membership meeting.

October 9, 2009 - The Roth Group is looking for a Kansas City based PMP to fill part time, day and evening instructor roles.  Requested experience and proficiencies include presentation skills, earned value management and/or MS Project 2007.  Interested candidates should send their resume to lcompton@rothgroup.net attention Lenet Compton.

August 15, 2009 - Nominations for the KCPMI Board of Directors for 2010 are now being accepted. We encourage each of our members to consider running for a board position. August 27, 2009 - PMP Class Begins - The Fall 2009 PMP Exam Prep class began with 25 participants on August 27 at Burns and McDonnell.  This class is full as always.  This the second class to teach the materials from the PMBOK 4th Edition.  The Winter class begins in January 2010 and enrollment will begin in November.

July 12, 2009 - PDD Registration Opens - Individual Registration Opens for 2009 Professional Development Days to be held Sept. 21 and 22.  Fees are $550 and $400 for KC PMI Members.  Company Group Discount Registration will open on July 26 and run through Sept. 6.
