PDU Credit Information

You can submit professional development units (PDUs) you have earned at www.pmi.org website. Use the online PDU reporting form to submit PDUs granted by any Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.). PDU claims for participation can use a search feature to identify the completed program.   The KC PMI Mid-America Chapter is a Registered Education Provider so you can search for "Mid America" and find a list of all PDU's provided by the chapter. If you are entering the 1 PDU for a chapter meeting; you need to wait until about 15 days after the meeting until the PDU event number is posted.

More information on the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program, PDUs, and the online reporting form can be found here in the certification section of www.pmi.org.

You can receive one PDU by attending Membership Dinner-Meeting. One of the easiest ways to collect PDUs is to attend a Membership Dinner-Meeting. When you register by the Thursday before the meeting  you will automatically receive one PDU. There is one more requirement - you must initial your name on the PDU List when you check in for the meeting. If you do not initial your name, we assume you were not able to attend. You can still claim a PDU by adding (1) your PMI Membership number, (2) Name, and (3) e-mail address to the PDU list or by submitting it yourself on www.pmi.org as stated above.

PDU's are continuing education credits required to maintain certification.

You are not required to record your PDU's till you get certified.

It is now a simple 3 step process.
  1. Log into PMI.org
  2. Go to Dashboard in myPMI menu
  3. Go to Report PDU
  4. The first box "I have a Claim Code" Click and enter the code.
