What: Knowledge Xchange is a small group discussion focusing on practical applications that add value in Project Management. Audience is encouraged to ask questions, or share strategies and best practices. Both withdrawals and deposits are welcome. It is also a great way to network with other project managers.

Topic: Scope Creep. In the middle of executing your project plan, your customer introduces new ideas that were not in your original scope. Hopefully, these are brought to you first. What do you do? Adding to scope potentially increases cost and adds delay to your schedule. We will discuss how you should respond in a way that satisfies your customer and your team. We will discuss pitfalls and successes. We also have ideas about documenting the changes – both the accepted changes and those that get rejected.

Facilitator: Bob Bolinger

PDUs: 1.0 Education PDU in Technical skills.

Full attendance is required to earn PDUs. Director of Knowledge Xchange submits PDUs for attendees who are KC Mid America Chapter members. All other attendees may self report the PDUs. Please allow up to 2 weeks for PDU submission.
