Knowledge Xchange is a small group discussion focusing on practical applications that add value in Project Management. Audience is encouraged to ask questions, or share strategies and best practices. Both withdrawals and deposits are welcome.  It is also a great way to network with other project managers.

Topic: Unexpected Life Changes; Professional Responsibility in the Face of Personal Crisis: Everyone has experienced a life changing event or some type of adversity. How one responds to the event or adversity can be a defining moment. My personal crisis presented itself in September of 2016 when my husband was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. Through this journey I had to learn how to balance my professional responsibilities while coming to terms with a life changing diagnosis, hospitalizations, surgeries, and treatments. Two and a half years later, I’ve learned that I have a story to tell that can help my fellow PMs who will deal with unexpected life changes.
