Organizational change is a process in which an organization optimizes performance as it works toward its ideal state, as a reaction to an ever-changing environment, as a response to a current crisis, or it is triggered by a leader with a strong vision for the future.

Course Objectives:

In this program, participants will explore:

  • Task, relationship, and identify types of change
      How to analyze stakeholders in managing a change process
  • Three models of change
  • Assessing follower readiness
  • Communications strategies for change implementation

After three previous careers - as a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper journalist, a leader of innovative product and new business development initiatives with Hallmark Cards, and 12 years as president of a boutique management consulting firm – Dr. Lee C. Stuart is now with the University of Kansas Edwards Campus as Leadership Programs Manager.

Lee brings experience in adult learning, disruptive innovation, organizational effectiveness, strategic business planning, and executive coaching. He possesses an unusual blend of creative and business thinking wrapped in years of experience as a writer, speaker, corporate executive, and as a consultant/coach to an array of organizations.
