KCPMI Mentoring Program

Do you want to share your knowledge with someone who needs it? Do you want to improve your interpersonal skills?    We are still seeking mentors for our KCPMI mentorship program. Your only obligation is your participation in the kickoff webinar, participation in the program, and feedback at the end of the program to help improvements to the program moving forward. 

If you’re interested in becoming a mentor, please:

  • Once your inquiry email is received, we will follow up with a mentoring agreement and guidelines for the program
  • Attend an upcoming mandatory kickoff and mentor training webinar.

2018 Academic Scholarship and Professional Development Scholarship

PMI Kansas City Mid-America Chapter is sponsoring 2018 PMI annual professional development scholarship ($1,000) and academic scholarship ($2,500).  

PMI Professional Development Scholarshipis to assist project managers who wish to attend continuing education courses. Up to US $1,000 will be awarded in whole or in part to one or more individuals per year.  Deadline for this application is 4/1/2018.

PMI Kansas City Mid America Chapter Scholarship valued at up to US $2,500 and is open to all students who meet the criteria below and are pursuing associate, undergraduate, graduate, or PhD degrees in Project Management or related fields of study from accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities.  Deadline for the application is 5/1/2018.

PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) offers academic scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students studying project management or a related field* at an accredited college or university, and there are 50+ scholarships available.  Complete ONE application to be considered for ALL academic scholarships.

Deadline is April 1 for Professional Development Scholarship, and May 1 for Academic Scholarship.  Apply Today!

PMP Exam Prep Course Scholarship

  • Scholarship will cover 66% of total enrollment fee.
  • Must be a PMI and KCPMI member in good standing to apply for Scholarship.
  • Application must be completed and submitted via email to scholarships@kcpmichapter.org 
  • To be considered for the next 2018 Class; need to submit application 4 weeks before class start date.
  • Recipient will be notified 2 weeks before class start date, and must enroll and pay fee 1 week before class start date.
  • To maintain scholarship; recipient must complete the course required 35 hours.
