Volunteer of the Month

Dayane Garcia - June 2016

Congratulations to Dayne, the Chapter Volunteer of the Month for June.Dayane Garcia joined KCPMI Chapter in June of 2015 as Recruitment Team member when the Director of the Recruitment was the only volunteer in the team. She immediately started to run at full speed, and “willing” and “able” to fill the recruiter role. Dayane helped board members to recruit and recommend over 30 volunteers and prospects which strongly support the Chapter operations.

Ron Montgomery - July 2016

Congratulations to Ron.This year we are implementing a Mobile App for PDD.   Ron volunteered to be the speaker representative to load the app and also test it. He worked on a test plan and found several issues that will be shared with Lanyon (the vendor). Ron is an early adopter for the app and is showing true leadership to the rest of the team as he encourages them to follow in his footsteps.

Jenny Tarwater - August 2016

Congratulations to Jenny.Jenny worked with KC Agilehood to add 4 Open Space sessions to the PDD Agenda when we determined that we were 4 PDUs short of the 16 PDUs we had advertised for the event. Jenny saved the date with quick thinking to come up with an easy to implement solution that would fit our needs.

Upcoming Workshops

The chapter plans to offer many wonderful professional development classes to enhance your Project Management knowledge this year, as well as help you earn PDUs.
